A little motivational guide!

My last two little posts were about spiritual elements, so now, a more practical guide.

We can't theorize all the time, we have to act! When necessary, of course.

How do you build up faith? Or learn how to grow? It's nice knowing that faith is important but what can I or the person next door do to build that foundation?

The first step is like many other things. It all starts with the mindset. Someone who is willing to learn will be open to new ideas, exploring different things, unlearning habits. So, I would say that would be the starting point.

Unlearning or do less of the thing you want to change. If you want to lose weight, lean off some of your snacks or count your calories. Don't try to fast, change is always gradual and incremental.

Then after deciding what you want to do, a plan or someway of achieving the plan, like a blueprint, can help. You can write do the steps you want to take every day or just keep in mind of goals you want to achieve. By focusing on these things and keeping at achieving your goal, you can form a new habit in a couple of weeks.

After forming the new habit, it is then maintaining and improving. Back to the losing weight example, you could replace the unhealthy snacks with alternatives or sugar free cookies. Or keep track of your daily calories intake. Everyone is going to have their own unique method of learning so there isn't always going to be a one size fit solution. But taking inspiration and making your own plan will , in my opinion, probably be more effective.

I would apply the same kind of concepts to faith. Mindset, behavior, actions, they all will form and solidify the faith in the ideas you want to believe in. Or the faith you can do something. And the same way with "acting". It's rash to act too quickly but slow if you wait too long to act, too. With practice and practice, I believe everyone can achieve these things. It won't be easy but nothing worth doing is ever easy.
